Dr. Farai Katsande serves as Vice-President of the Africa Region for Campus Crusade for Christ — one of the largest evangelical ministry organizations in the world. In this role, he provides spiritual oversight, strategic clarity, and coordinated support to national movements spanning all 50 African countries.
With a vision forged through decades of ministry experience across the continent, Dr. Katsande leads with a deep conviction that movements must not merely begin — they must mature, multiply, and ultimately send. His leadership is marked by a commitment to walk with nations, not over them — partnering with local leaders to build ministries that are sustainable, dignified, and self-propagating.
Under his leadership, the Africa Region has pioneered the Accelerated Movement Progress (AMP) initiative — a transformative framework helping Stage 2 ministries advance toward Stage 3 maturity, currently active in Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Uganda.

This Africa Region Support Plan is not merely a strategy document. It is a covenant — a declaration that the Africa Regional Leadership, together with the Africa Round Table and seven strategic departments, chooses to walk with nations toward maturity.
Every African country, regardless of its starting point, deserves a clear, hope-filled pathway to movement maturity. No country too small to invest in. No nation too far to reach. No movement too fragile to strengthen.

In partnership with StoryRunners and the Great Commission Movement of Nigeria, 325 people were equipped in Oral Bible Storytelling — carrying the gospel the way communities have always carried truth: through story, voice, and relationship.
One mother shared the story of Blind Bartimaeus with her family. The next morning, her daughter carried it to her classroom teacher, who shared it with her entire class. Meanwhile, her son led a colleague to faith at work after one simple question: "If Jesus were here, what would you ask Him to do for you?"
Among those trained was a Fulani disciple who walked back into herding communities and saw two cattle herders come to faith — then gave them his personal audio Bible so they would never be without God's Word.
Zimbabwe Life Ministry built with quiet faithfulness — training leaders, building discipleship structures, investing in people, not only events. Today they ask not "How do we survive?" but "Who can we help?" — a Stage 5 sending nation.
Across Francophone West Africa — in Fulani and Hausa-Fulani communities — the gospel is moving digitally. People watching Jesus Film, receiving heart-language messages, entering their first gospel conversation online. Trained workers discipling and connecting believers to local fellowship.
The Accelerated Movement Progress project, active in Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Uganda, helps Stage 2 ministries advance to Stage 3 — emphasizing simplicity, ministry ownership, and spiritual discernment over speed.
